Purpose and methods of lip augmentation

The purpose of lip augmentation is to give the lips a natural size and shape, in order to fit perfectly with each face. Lip augmentation with hyaluronic acid

Lip augmentation with Hyaluronic acid is probably the most prevalent injectable method. We usually choose this method to correct imperfections in the size and shape of the lips. Injections are made after injectable local anesthesia or anesthesia with a special cream. This type of lip augmentation is relatively painless, safe and with impressive results. In most cases, after one to two days the lips have a natural image. The whole procedure lasts 30-40 minutes and for a complete result, two repetitions are usually done with an interval of about ten days.

Hyaluronic acid has a satisfactory duration and physical effect. After the first visits, the result remains for about one year. One of the biggest advantages of the hyaluronic lip augmentation is that we gradually achieve the desired effect. This way there is no danger of a lip increase, greater than the one you want and fits into your face. Yet another advantage is that using a specific enzyme, hyaluronic dissolves in about 24 hours. This means that it is an easily reversible process if the result no longer satisfies you.

Lip augmentation using inserts

The lip augmentation using inserts is a very safe technique, which is done with local anesthesia and takes about 20 minutes. Using 2 very small holes at the edge of each lip we place the inserts. The holes do not leave visible scars and after the swelling has subsided, there is no sense of a foreign body in the lips. In addition, silicone inserts cause no reaction to the body because it is considered to be inert material.

The advantages of the lip augmentation with the Permalip method are the following: It is not easily perceived and has the texture of a real lip. It is absolutely safe and does not create reactions in the body. It can be easily removed if you want in the future. The result is permanent as opposed to hyaluronic acid.

Lip augmentation with autologous materials

By autologous material, we mean the operation in which we use tissues from some other part of the person’s body. Using fat is the most common option for lip augmentation.

After collecting and processing the fat, we put it in the lips. It is a very safe method because the implant comes from your own body and does not generate any reactions.

A part of the tissue will be absorbed by the body, while the rest remains forever. This process can be repeated as many times as you wish to achieve the desired result.
